Project Details

This project involved the design and construction of a specialized gymnastics training facility that supports recreational, competitive, and specialty programs for all ages. The layout includes open-training zones, equipment areas, viewing/support spaces, and administrative/operations zones - all configured to promote seamless athlete development and efficient back-of-house functioning.
From project inception, emphasis was placed on design-coordination and stakeholder engagement. Early workshops with coaches and facility operators identified training flows, equipment requirements, and support area adjacencies. The project team maintained a structured and responsive workflow, aligning consultants, client stakeholders and contractors through all phases of schematic design, documentation and construction.
Architectural and interior design solutions were developed under rigorous review for building-code compliance, accessibility, fire and life-safety standards, and long-term adaptability. The architectural team led the permitting process and code coordination with the Authorities Having Jurisdiction, resulting in a facility that supports high-performance training while remaining flexible for evolving program demands.
